Inspired Woman

Inspiration!

How often we feel uninspired in our lives and in our endeavors! Sometimes we are so busy, tired and stressed we can only go through the motions of living life, with very little room for joy, creativity or inspiration.

Inspiration can mean different things to different people. To the scientist inspiration can be an idea that leads to a unique discovery. To the artist inspiration can lead to the creation of a masterpiece. In spirituality to be inspired is to feel called by a Higher Power.

The ancient Greeks would begin their songs, poems and stories with a prayer for inspiration, as supplication to the gods or as an invocation to the muse.

The acts of prayer, meditation, manifestation and divination can offer us inspiration. Whether that inspiration is simply the strength to get through the day, the push to creativity or a call to greatness, inspiration is something we all need.

Equinox

Equinox

Today, March 20th, the Northern Hemisphere celebrates the Vernal Equinox; the first day of spring. On the other side of the world, of course, they welcome the Autumnal Equinox and the beginning of autumn.

All over the world there are drum circles, celebrations and community events to commemorate the moment when day and night are of equal length, and light and dark are in balance.

The first day of spring is called Ostara, and is the inspiration for the Christian holiday of Easter, celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox. This is the time of resurrection and rebirth, of hatching eggs and sprouting seeds. The triumph of light over darkness, of warmth over cold, is what we celebrate at this time of year.

What is it you would like to "hatch" this spring? What seeds are you nurturing? Now is the time to set your intentions for your own rebirth and your own creativity!

Community

We use the word "community" to describe many different things. A community can be the place where you live; you might not even know your neighbors, but it is still a community.

A community can be a group of people (on line or in person) who share a common interest.

A community can be your entire town.

In a best-case scenario, a community is helpful and supportive. Many of us volunteer our time and talents to our community, and feel the satisfaction of participating in something that really makes a difference.

In a worst-case scenario, communities can be torn apart by personality issues, causing people to feel frustrated, angry and ostracized.

The important thing to remember is this. We all need our communities, especially our communities of like-minded people. Sometimes there will be members of our community that behave badly, causing us to withdraw. Sometimes withdrawing for a period of time is a good idea. But, in the end, the fellowship of community is something we all need; no matter how much one person may irritate us.

If you are in a community that you enjoy, dedicate yourself to it.

If you are not, find your community of likeminded people. You'll be glad you did.

Gilded Tarot Six of Cups

Hello friends!

Thanks so much to those of you who have already started to read Tarot Tour Guide! I've been getting emails every day in support of the book. I appreciate this so much!

I had fun last week speaking to the folks at the Coast-to-Coast Chat Group in Fort Lauderdale.  It was great to get a speaking invitation after having only lived in the area for less than a week!

We have two free webinars this week, so you have no excuse not to enjoy some tarot learning and fellowship.

Events This Week

The RWS Knight of Swords

Hello Friends!  I am happy to announce that we have four webinars this week, starting with a Premium Webinar tonight.

Before I tell you about that, let me tell you about two great things that happened this past week.

First was my presentation at the Tarot Masters conference in Brazil.  My topic was "Tarot, the Four Elements and Your Spiritual Journey," which is also the subtitle of my new book, Tarot Tour Guide, which will be available later this month.

Hello everyone! I want to start today’s newsletter with some FAQs about my webinars!

Q. What is a webinar?
A. A Webinar is an on-line class, seminar or workshop accessible on your computer, tablet or telephone.

Q. What kinds of webinars does Christiana do?
A. I do three kinds of tarot webinars. Premium Webinars are intensive tarot classes for which the class fee is $20. Free Webinars are free tarot classes. Global Tarot Circle is a free informal tarot workshop for the purpose of study, fellowship and fun.
In May I will begin a series of non-tarot webinars on topics such as Candle Magick, Psychic Development and even a Psychic Gallery!
